What are HA Fillers and how do they work?
Juvederm and Restylane are hyaluronic acid fillers suspended in a gel carrier. This gel helps the injectable hyaluronic to remain in place. The hyaluronic acid works immediately by pulling in water, therefore, increasing the volume where injected. This works well for deeper to more severe wrinkles, folds, and areas of the face where more volume is needed. These fillers dissolve naturally and can last up to one year, with some lasting even longer.

The polylactic acid will be biodegraded, and replaced with a network of new collagen after several months. Treatment areas could include the cheeks, jawline, nasolabialfolds, temples and cheeks. Most people will need three treatments within a few months. After that, they only need one treatment each year. The results can last up to two years.
What is Kybella?
Kybella is an injectable treatment approved to permanently destroy fat cells. Depending on the amount of fat present one to five vials of Kybella may be needed during a single treatment session and multiple treatment sessions may be necessary. The most common area of treatment is the submental fat otherwise known as a 'double chin'. Once the desired aesthetic goal has been achieved, treatment can be stopped.
