What are HA Fillers exactly?
Juvederm or Restylane are hyaluronic fillers that are suspended in gel carriers. This gel helps the injectable hyaluronic to remain in place. The hyaluronic- acid immediately pulls in water. In this way, it increases volume. This is great for deep wrinkles and folds on the face, as well as areas that require more volume like the cheeks or lips. These fillers dissolve naturally with most lasting at least a year. Others may last longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. What is Sculptra?
Sculptra uses poly-L lactic acids to slowly restore facial volume. It stimulates your skin's natural ability over time to produce collagen. Over several months, the poly-L-lactic acid is biodegraded and replaced with a meshwork of new collagen. Treatment areas can include the jawline and temples. Most people will need three treatments within a few months. After that, they only need one treatment each year. Your results may last for more than two years.
What is Kybella anyway?
Kybella is an approved injectable treatment that permanently eliminates fat cells. A single session may require up to five Kybella vials depending on how much fat is present. Additional sessions may be necessary depending on the extent of the treatment. The most common area to be treated is the submental, also known by the 'double-chin'.
