What are HA Fillers and how do they work?
Juvederm is a hyaluronic-acid filler suspended in a gel. Restylane is also known as Restylane. This gel keeps the hyaluronic ag in place. The hyaluronic- acid immediately pulls in water. In this way, it increases volume. This works well for deeper to more severe wrinkles, folds, and areas of the face where more volume is needed. These fillers are dissolved naturally with most lasting up to a year and some even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. [1] Traditionally, it includes dermatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, reconstructive surgery and plastic surgery,[2] surgical procedures (liposuction, facelifts, breast implants, Radio frequency ablation), non-surgical procedures (radio frequency skin tightening, non- surgical liposuction, chemical peel, high-intensity focused electromagnetic field, radio frequency fat removal), and a combination of both.[3] Aesthetic medicine procedures are usually elective.[4]
Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020,[6] making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. It is the most populated municipality of the Kansas City metropolitan area, which straddles the Kansas–Missouri state line and has a population of 2,392,035.[7][2] The city borders Johnson County and Kansas City, Kansas (Wyandotte County) in Kansas. Most of the city lies within Jackson County, with portions spilling into Clay, Cass, and Platte counties. Kansas City was founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River at its confluence with the Kansas River coming in from the west. On June 1, 1850, the town of Kansas was incorporated; shortly after came the establishment of the Kansas Territory. Confusion between the two ensued, and the name Kansas City was assigned to distinguish them soon after.
Sitting on Missouri's western boundary with Kansas, with Downtown near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, the city encompasses about 319.03 square miles (826.3 km2), making it the 23rd largest city by total area in the United States. It serves as one of the two county seats of Jackson County, along with the major suburb of Independence. Other major suburbs include the Missouri cities of Blue Springs and Lee's Summit and the Kansas cities of Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and Kansas City, Kansas.
The city is composed of several neighborhoods, including the River Market District in the north, the 18th and Vine District in the east, and the Country Club Plaza in the south. Celebrated cultural traditions include Kansas City jazz; theater, as a center of the Vaudevillian Orpheum circuit in the 1920s; the Chiefs and Royals sports franchises; and famous cuisine based on Kansas City-style barbecue, Kansas City strip steak, and craft breweries.
There are many HA-fillers on offer. To deliver dramatic enhancements, we use Restylane as well as Juvederm. You have more options and can get customized results.
What are Neurotoxins exactly?
Botox and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins that can temporarily help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause wrinkles and lines to appear and grow over time. Botox and Dysport temporarily reduce muscle contractions. This will make the skin look smoother.
The forehead, frown lines and crows feet are all common areas for treatment. You can see results in as little as two days. However, they will gradually improve over two weeks. You can expect to see results for as long as four months, if you do the right dosage.
What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is a bio stimulatory injectable comprised of poly-L-lactic acid that helps to restore facial volume gradually. It is injected into the skin to stimulate your natural ability to create collagen over time. The polylactic acid will be biodegraded, and replaced with a network of new collagen after several months. Treatment areas could include the cheeks, jawline, nasolabialfolds, temples and cheeks. The majority of patients will need three treatments in the first few months, followed by one annual treatment. You can expect to see results for up to two years.
What is Kybella anyway?
Kybella is an injection that can permanently destroy fat cells. Depending on the amount of fat present one to five vials of Kybella may be needed during a single treatment session and multiple treatment sessions may be necessary. The most common area to be treated is the submental, also known by the 'double-chin'. Treatments can be stopped once the desired aesthetic goal was achieved.
What is a Vitamin B-12 shot?
Vitamin B-12, an essential vitamin, is what our body needs to function well. This injection may improve energy levels, fatigue reduction, speed up metabolism and improve sleep patterns. It can also increase concentration, mood improvement, immune system boosting, and other benefits.
What is HydraFacial?
HydraFacial treats all skin needs. It uses patented technology to clean, extract and hydrate the skin.
HydraFacial super serums are made with nourishing ingredients that create an instant glow in just a few steps.
The first step cleanses and peels the skin to uncover a new layer of skin using gentle exfoliation. Then a light chemical peel is applied to help resurface the skin and prepare it for painless extractions. Next, debris is extracted from the pores with painless suction. Finally, the skin is moisturized. For a glowing skin, antioxidants or peptides will be infused into the skin. The best thing is that there is no downtime.
What is Dermaplane exactly?
Dermaplaning removes the top layer of dead skin, hair, and debris using a medical-grade surgical knife. A single session of Dermaplaning can remove 2-3 weeks of buildup from the skin's dead skin cells. Dermplane is completely painless and non-invasive. The technique may look similar to shaving, but it is much more effective because the blade being used is able to get right against the top layer of skin. The hair does not get darker as dermaplaning is designed to target the vellus hair, also known as peach fuzz. It will grow back the same color and size. It doesn't give the illusion that the hair is thicker because of the way it is cut. This procedure is painless and requires no downtime.
What is Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel is a procedure that involves applying a chemical solution on the skin to remove the outer layers of the dermis. Chemical peels can improve skin texture and radiance as well as reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. They also help decongest and treat acne-prone skin. Chemical peels come in superficial, medium, and deep strengths. Improvement in the skin varies depending on your concerns and which peel is selected to address your needs. Multiple treatments are recommended for most people to get the best results.
What is Clear + Brilliant Laser, exactly?
Clear + Brilliant Laser's advanced technology is used to provide Clear + Brilliant treatments. Clear + Brilliant starts with a consultation. This allows you to discuss your concerns and determine whether Clear + Brilliant is right to treat them. From there, your practitioner can recommend a Clear + Brilliant Laser treatment regimen. With two handpieces to choose from either to address skin texture issues like fine lines/wrinkles and poor size or brown spots, there is a perfect treatment option for you!

These are some highly rated medical spas in Kansas City, MO:
This is a review for medical spas in Kansas City, MO:
"I've been to about a dozen different medical spas and plastic surgery offices across the country, and this one has been my absolute favorite so far. Great customer service, very knowledgeable staff, good products and incredible prices. I was paying almost $100 more for a single chemical peel/hydrafacial at other medical spas and still wasn't getting the results I got from visiting Mia Bella. Not only are the estheticians friendly and thorough, but they take their time on your procedures (low light, relaxing music) and really make a practical, result-driven procedure feel like a trip to the spa. Oh, and I received derma planning at the beginning of each procedure for no extra cost (typically a $50 charge at other places)"
