What are HA fillers, exactly?
Juvederm and Restylane are hyaluronic acid fillers suspended in a gel carrier. This gel allows the hyaluronic acids to stay in place when injected. The hyaluronic a immediately works by drawing in water. This increases the volume. This is great for moderate to deeper wrinkles and folds of the face or areas where more volume is desired like cheeks or lips.
