What are HA fillers, exactly?
Juvederm and Restylane, hyaluronic Acid fillers, are suspended within a gel carrier. This gel helps the injectable hyaluronic to remain in place. The hyaluronic Acid immediately draws in water to increase the volume of the area where it is injected. This works well for deeper to more severe wrinkles, folds, and areas of the face where more volume is needed. These fillers are dissolved naturally with most lasting up to a year and some even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. [1] Traditionally, it includes dermatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, reconstructive surgery and plastic surgery,[2] surgical procedures (liposuction, facelifts, breast implants, Radio frequency ablation), non-surgical procedures (radio frequency skin tightening, non- surgical liposuction, chemical peel, high-intensity focused electromagnetic field, radio frequency fat removal), and a combination of both.[3] Aesthetic medicine procedures are usually elective.[4]
Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. What are Neurotoxins?
Botox or Dysport can temporarily improve the appearance wrinkles and fine lines with injectable neurotoxins. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause facial lines and wrinkles to form and get deeper over time. Botox and Dysport will weaken these muscle contractions temporarily leaving the skin visibly smoother.
Common areas to treat include the forehead and frown lines. Although results are visible in a few days following treatment, the effects will last for two weeks. You can expect to see results for as long as four months, if you do the right dosage.
What is sculpture?
Sculptra, a biostimulatory injectable made of poly-L–lactic acid, helps gradually restore facial volume. When injected, it stimulates your skin's natural ability gradually to make collagen. The poly-L-lactic acids is gradually biodegraded over several months and replaced by a network of new collagen. The treatment areas include the jawline, cheeks and nasolabial folds. Most people will need three treatments within a few months. After that, they only need one treatment each year. You can expect to see results for up to two years.
What is Kybella?
Kybella is an injectable treatment approved to permanently destroy fat cells. One to five Kybella vials may be required depending on the amount of fat. Multiple sessions may be required. The most common area of treatment is the submental fat otherwise known as a 'double chin'. Treatments can be stopped once the desired aesthetic goal was achieved.

What is Dermaplane?
Dermaplaning uses a medical-grade surgical blade to remove the surface layer of dead skin, debris, and hair. A single session can remove about 2-3 weeks worth of built up dead skin cells or debris. Dermplane has no side effects and is completely painless. Although it may look like shaving, dermplane is more efficient because the blade can reach the top layer of the skin. The hair will not grow back darker - dermaplaning targets vellus hairs (peach fuzz), which are the same size as the original. A surgical blade does not give the illusion of thicker hair. This treatment is quick and painless.
What is Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel involves the application of a chemical solution to the skin to remove the upper layers of the dermis. Chemical peels will help to improve the skin's texture and radiance, even out the skin tone, diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, help acne-prone skin, and decongest pores. Chemical peels can be performed in three strengths: deep, medium, or superficial. Your concerns and the type of peel you select will determine how much improvement your skin receives.
