What are HA Fillers and how do they work?
Juvederm and Restylane, hyaluronic Acid fillers, are suspended within a gel carrier. This gel helps the injectable hyaluronic to remain in place. The hyaluronic acid works immediately by pulling in water, therefore, increasing the volume where injected. This is ideal for areas with more volume, such as cheeks or lips, or wrinkles that are deeper or more prominent. These fillers dissolve naturally and can last up to one year, with some lasting even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area.
