What are HA Fillers and how do they work?
Juvederm, Restylane and other hyaluronic acids fillers are suspended in a gel carrier. This gel helps the injectable hyaluronic to remain in place. The hyaluronic acid works immediately by pulling in water, therefore, increasing the volume where injected. This is ideal for areas with more volume, such as cheeks or lips, or wrinkles that are deeper or more prominent. These fillers dissolve naturally and can last up to one year, with some lasting even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. What are Neurotoxins?
Botox
and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins which can temporarily improve wrinkle appearance. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause facial lines and wrinkles to form and get deeper over time. Botox/Dysport will temporarily decrease muscle contractions and make skin smoother.
Common treatment areas include the forehead, frown lines, and crows feet. The results can be seen in a few days, but they will improve over the next two weeks. Results can last up four months if taken as directed.
What is Sculptra, exactly?
Sculptra, a biostimulatory injectable made of poly-L–lactic acid, helps gradually restore facial volume. It stimulates your skin's natural ability over time to produce collagen. Over time, the poly-L lactic acid is biodegraded to create a new meshwork of collagen. Treatment areas can include the jawline and temples. Some people require three treatments initially, then one each year. You can expect to see results for up to two years.
What is Kybella exactly?
Kybella can be used to permanently remove fat cells. Depending upon the amount of fat present, up to five vials (or more) of Kybella might be required during one treatment session. Sometimes multiple sessions are necessary. Submental fat, also known as the 'double chin', is the most common area for treatment. Once the desired aesthetic goal has been achieved, treatment can be stopped.

What is Dermaplane?
Dermaplaning uses an operating-grade surgical blade to remove the dead skin, debris, or hair layer. One session of dermaplaning can remove approximately 2-3 weeks worth of dead skin cells and other debris. Dermplane has no side effects and is completely painless. The procedure may seem similar to shaving but is much more efficient as the blade used can get right to the top layer. You don't have to worry about your hair getting darker. Dermaplaning targets the peach fuzz (vellus hair) which grows back in the same size and color. A surgical blade does not give the illusion of thicker hair. This treatment does not require downtime.

A chemical peel is a procedure that involves applying a chemical solution on the skin to remove the outer layers of the dermis. What is an Insta-Glo Facial?
