What are HA Fillers?
Juvederm or Restylane are hyaluronic fillers that are suspended in gel carriers. This gel helps the injection of hyaluronic Acid stay in its place. The hyaluronic- acid immediately pulls in water. In this way, it increases volume. This is great for deep wrinkles and folds on the face, as well as areas that require more volume like the cheeks or lips. These fillers dissolve easily and last for up to a year.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. What are Neurotoxins?
Botox and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins that can temporarily help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause wrinkles and facial lines to develop and become deeper over time. Botox/Dysport will temporarily decrease muscle contractions and make skin smoother.
The forehead, frown lines and crows feet are all common areas for treatment. Results can be seen starting in just a couple of days after treatment but will continue to work gradually over two weeks. When dosed appropriately results may last up to four months.
What is sculpture?
Sculptra uses poly-L lactic acids to slowly restore facial volume. It is injected into the skin to stimulate your natural ability to create collagen over time. The poly-L–lactic acid is biodegraded gradually and replaced by a matrix of new collagen over several months. Treatment areas can include the jawline and temples. The majority of patients will need three treatments in the first few months, followed by one annual treatment. Results can last more than two years!
What is Kybella exactly?
Kybella, an injectable treatment approved for permanently eliminating fat cells, is available. Depending on the amount of fat present one to five vials of Kybella may be needed during a single treatment session and multiple treatment sessions may be necessary. Submental fat, also known as the 'double chin', is the most common area for treatment. Once an aesthetic goal is reached, treatment can be stopped.

The technique may look similar to shaving, but it is much more effective because the blade being used is able to get right against the top layer of skin. The hair will not grow back darker - dermaplaning targets vellus hairs (peach fuzz), which are the same size as the original. It does not appear thicker due to the way that the blade is used. There is no downtime.
