What are HA Fillers and how do they work?
Juvederm and Restylane are hyaluronic acid fillers suspended in a gel carrier. This gel helps the hyaluronic acid stay in place where injected. The hyaluronic- acid immediately pulls in water. In this way, it increases volume. This is a great option for wrinkles, deep folds and other areas that need more volume such as cheeks and lips. These fillers can be dissolved naturally, with most lasting for at least one year. Some may last even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. [1] Traditionally, it includes dermatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, reconstructive surgery and plastic surgery,[2] surgical procedures (liposuction, facelifts, breast implants, Radio frequency ablation), non-surgical procedures (radio frequency skin tightening, non- surgical liposuction, chemical peel, high-intensity focused electromagnetic field, radio frequency fat removal), and a combination of both.[3] Aesthetic medicine procedures are usually elective.[4]
Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. What are Neurotoxins?
Botox and Dysport, injectable neurotoxins, can temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause wrinkles and facial lines to develop and become deeper over time. Botox/Dysport will temporarily decrease muscle contractions and make skin smoother.
Common areas to treat include the forehead and frown lines. Results can be seen starting in just a couple of days after treatment but will continue to work gradually over two weeks. Results can last up four months if taken as directed.
What is Sculptra, exactly?
Sculptra uses poly-L lactic acids to slowly restore facial volume. When injected, it stimulates your skin's natural ability gradually to make collagen. The polylactic acid will be biodegraded, and replaced with a network of new collagen after several months. Treatment areas may include, temples, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and jawline. The majority of patients will need three treatments in the first few months, followed by one annual treatment. You can expect to see results for up to two years.
What is Kybella exactly?
Kybella can be used to permanently remove fat cells. One to five Kybella vials may be required depending on the amount of fat. Multiple sessions may be required. The most common area of treatment is the submental fat otherwise known as a 'double chin'. Treatments can stop once a desired aesthetic goal has been reached.
What is a Vitamin B-12 shot?
Vitamin B-12 is an essential vitamin our bodies require to function properly. This injection could help improve energy, decrease fatigue, speed metabolism, improve sleep patterns and increase concentration. It may also boost immunity.

What is Dermaplane?
Dermaplaning uses an operating-grade surgical blade to remove the dead skin, debris, or hair layer. One session of dermaplaning can remove approximately 2-3 weeks worth of dead skin cells and other debris. Dermplane does not require any pain and is non-invasive. The procedure may seem similar to shaving but is much more efficient as the blade used can get right to the top layer. There is no need to worry about the hair growing back darker- dermaplaning targets the vellus hair (peach fuzz) that grows back the same size and color. A surgical blade does not give the illusion of thicker hair. There is no downtime.
What is a Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel refers to a treatment that uses a chemical solution to exfoliate the top layers of skin. Chemical peels can improve the skin texture and radiance. They can also reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Chemical peels are available in three strengths: superficial, medium and deep. Your concerns and the type of peel you select will determine how much improvement your skin receives. To achieve the best results, it is advisable to use multiple treatments.

Clear + Brilliant Laser uses advanced technology. However, Clear + Brilliant treatments are easy to obtain. Clear + Brilliant starts with a consultation. This allows you to discuss your concerns and determine whether Clear + Brilliant is right to treat them. Your practitioner can then recommend a Clear+Bright Laser treatment program. There are two handpieces available to treat skin texture issues such as fine lines/wrinkles, poor size spots or brown spots.
What is an Insta-Glo Facial?
Our signature Insta-Glo Facial will leave you glowing for days! It's a combination of a HydroJelly mask and a custom-made ampoule. This is the perfect treatment for your skin.
First, wash and exfoliate the skin. The skin is cleansed and exfoliated. Next, the ampoule can be applied. After that, HydroJelly is applied. Finally, the appropriate products are applied then applied to your skin and you are ready to own the day! The downtime is minimal.
