What are HA fillers, exactly?
Juvederm, Restylane and other hyaluronic acids fillers are suspended in a gel carrier. This gel allows the hyaluronic acids to stay in place when injected. The hyaluronic acid works immediately by pulling in water, therefore, increasing the volume where injected. This is great for moderate to deeper wrinkles and folds of the face or areas where more volume is desired like cheeks or lips. These fillers dissolve naturally with most lasting at least a year. Others may last longer.

When injected, it stimulates your skin's natural ability gradually to make collagen. The polylactic acid will be biodegraded, and replaced with a network of new collagen after several months. The treatment areas include the jawline, cheeks and nasolabial folds. Most people will need three treatments within a few months. After that, they only need one treatment each year. You can expect to see results for up to two years.
What is Kybella?
Kybella can be used to permanently remove fat cells. Depending on the amount of fat present one to five vials of Kybella may be needed during a single treatment session and multiple treatment sessions may be necessary. The most common area of treatment is the submental fat otherwise known as a 'double chin'. Once an aesthetic goal is reached, treatment can be stopped.
