What are HA Fillers?
Juvederm and Restylane are hyaluronic acid fillers suspended in a gel carrier. This gel helps the injectable hyaluronic to remain in place. The hyaluronic- acid immediately pulls in water. In this way, it increases volume. This is a great option for wrinkles, deep folds and other areas that need more volume such as cheeks and lips. These fillers are dissolved naturally with most lasting up to a year and some even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. What is Sculptra?
Sculptra injectable is a bio stimulatory injection made from poly-L lactic acid. It gradually restores facial volume. It is injected into the skin to stimulate your natural ability to create collagen over time. Over several months, the poly-L-lactic acid is biodegraded and replaced with a meshwork of new collagen. Treatment areas can include the jawline and temples. In the beginning, most people will need three treatments spread over several months. Then they may only require one treatment every year. Results can last more than two years!
What is Kybella anyway?
Kybella, an injectable treatment approved for permanently eliminating fat cells, is available. A single session may require up to five Kybella vials depending on how much fat is present. Additional sessions may be necessary depending on the extent of the treatment. The most common area of treatment is the submental fat otherwise known as a 'double chin'. Once the desired aesthetic goal has been achieved, treatment can be stopped.
