The Wyeth - Tootle Manor, at 11th and Charles sts., is a historical mansion. William M. Wyeth built it in 1879. It was designed in Gothic style by Eckel and Mann Architects. They gathered ideas from their European travels and built the mansion in 1883. The Tootles owned the house from 1887 until it was sold.
The mansion is three stories high and has a tower. The house boasts more than 40 bedrooms. Beautiful woodwork, hand-painted ceilings and imported stained windows are all part of the interior.
