The Wyeth - Tootle Manor, at 11th and Charles sts., is a historical mansion. William M. Wyeth built it in 1879. It was designed in Gothic style by Eckel and Mann Architects. They had travelled extensively throughout Europe to gather ideas and build the mansion which was completed in 1883. The Tootles lived there until 1887 when it was sold.
The mansion consists of three floors and a tower. The house boasts more than 40 bedrooms. The interior is decorated with beautiful woodwork, handpainted ceilings, and imported stain glass.
