Historic mansion, the Wyeth-Tootle Manor is located at 11th & Charles sts. Built in 1879 by William M. Wyeth, it was designed by Mann Architects in Gothic style. They gathered ideas from their European travels and built the mansion in 1883. The Tootles owned the house from 1887 until it was sold.
The mansion is three stories high and has a tower. There are more than 40 rooms inside the house. Beautiful woodwork, imported stained glass, and hand-painted ceilings are just a few of the features found in the interior. Visitors can also experience life in the late nineteenth century.
