The Wyeth – Tootle Manor is a historic house located at 11th & Charles sts. Built in 1879 by William M. Wyeth, it was designed by Mann Architects in Gothic style. They had travelled extensively throughout Europe to gather ideas and build the mansion which was completed in 1883. The Tootles lived there until 1887 when it was sold.
The mansion is three stories high and has a tower. The house contains more than 40 rooms. Beautiful woodwork, imported stained glass, and hand-painted ceilings are just a few of the features found in the interior. Visitors can also experience life in the late nineteenth century.
