Krug Park.

Krug Park is found at the northern end Parkway St. Joseph in Saint Joseph. It has extensive landscaping and flowers, and features structures in the style of the Italian Renaissance. The park is a popular spot for both residents and visitors to the city. This park offers many activities, such as a nature trail and a playground. There is also a cafe.

Krug Family donated 140 acres to park in 1936. This gave the park its current shape. The park has seen many improvements over the years, including a castle playground, and a wading swimming pool. It is also home of one of the largest outdoor light shows in Northwest Missouri.

Krug Park was opened May 6, 1902. It is accessed via a stone gateway. There were also alligators and other exotic animals in the park. The park also featured old war cannons as well the "Robidoux Cabin", which was falsely claimed by Joseph Robidoux.
